Comment, Comment, Comment

Just a quick blog to ask those who read my blog to leave a comment, by clicking on the word comment at the end of the blog. I have given my blog address to a few people but still just get comments from one. Just wondering if there is anyone else reading it, and would love to hear from you.

Time, More Time, His Time

Let them sleep, let them sleep, let them sleep. All six children here are sleeping, so instead of using that time productively here I sit to blog. We are all back to health here and back into the swing of things. Looking forward to a weekend away, we are going to a hotel in Niagara Falls for two nights, Friday night without Isaac and Hannah and then all day Saturday and Saturday night with all the children. It is always a fun relaxing get away we do in the winter when the rates are right. The children love the pool and adventure. Mommy enjoys leaving her to do list at home and just having her family to focus on.

With the new year my to do list just seems to grow, there is the house to keep tidy, meals to made, homeschooling material to work on, scrapbooking to do, especially after all the picture taken over Christmas, kids journals to update, and two things I wanted to commit more to is personal devotion time and exercising. But my were do the days go. I am enjoying the children so much, it is wonderful being a Mom, Hannah is really starting to do imagitive play with her dolls, Sarah is sitting on her own and just loves to giggle for her brother and sister. Isaac is a little sponge so inquisitive. Honestly I just need longer days to embrace my little ones in love and prayer.

I long to be a godly Mother to them. I long for healing and growth in my life but I still do feel very stuck and on my own. Not really knowing where to turn. Yet trust God to direct and guide in His time, for it is Him who is my Jehovah-Rapha my provider and His grace is sufficient for me. Oh, but how much better could I be without a wounded heart. I guess it may be my wounds that keep me ground in God or maybe my superwomen, perfectionism may take completely over. Of course only to be wounded again. Oh, but the pain is so great, and the anger, I hate the anger, but how do you deal with it, give it to God but how if I am too vulnerable and afraid to even look at it. In His Time, In His Time, everything will be made beautiful.

Well my to do list is calling and I have a feeling with in minutes, six children also so better go.

House Bound, Chair Bound

Well I think I watched more children's shows today then I watched my whole childhood. I had two fussy, sick children on my lap most of the day. So there I sat caring for my little ones, bored out of my mind, with a list of things to do, but my children needed the Mommy's cuddles today so all will wait. When they are six months and two they don't quite understand that there is more in the world for Mommy to do then care for them. Any way hopefully they are feeling better tommorow, I have pretty much canceled daycare children until next week.

So maybe tommorow I can tidy the house, fold laundry, write in the children's journals about thier Christmas, organize and do some scrapbooking, and venture off the chair. Or else we sit snuggle and pray for our girls and realize someday they will get better and venture off my lap.

New Year, Trust God

Well a new year has begun. What does the Lord have in store for us. Sometimes I think a blue print of my life would be nice. Been pretty depressed again the last few days, not real sure why but then as the old saying goes who really cares. The children had a good Christmas, it has been nice to have extra family time. It just makes me wish I had more time in a day to enjoy my little blessings.
Isaac is really growing up, interestingly this morning he was playing with some lego men and asked if it was okay if he pretended one of them was God. What do you say at a moment like that, I figured I would sooner have his super hero being God then the many other characters out there. Anyway his play continued to proceed with God giving baby brothers' to people. Guess what Isaac wants in the New Year. He has been asking a lot for a baby brother lately, and we have been telling him that there are no guarantees, that God will do what is best for our family. Anyway Mommy's routing for twins, I think twins will finish our quiver off nicely. We will see what the Lord's plan's are.
Well I would take time to make some New Years resolutions but first I need more time in my day to do them. I would like more devotional time to grow as a Godly Wife, Mother and person, more play time to love and care for my husband and children, and yes a little more time for me in the day to scrapbook, write in my children's journal's and exercise off this tire roll for carrying my little blessing. So once again I will just start each day a new and do my best at accomplishing what I can prioritize my relationships with God, family and friends. And someday I am sure before I know it my children will grow up and time will seem to last forever before I will hold them in my arms. And when I go to heaven I hope to take all these with me where their scrapbooks, journal's and this body will stay here. So my biggest challenge for the new year is to let go of my perfectionism and do my best and trust God with the rest.
